The Danbury Whalers are proud to announce that on Saturday, January 17th at 7:35 PM when the Whalers take on the Danville Dashers it is First Responders Night. In recognition and thanks for their service to the community, on this night First Responders will receive a complimentary ticket.
This night is sponsored by Noble Industrial Furnace, Monster Mini-Golf, and Industrial Automation.

Andrew Willock Joins Whalers as Assistant Director of Marketing
The Danbury Whalers are proud to announce a transaction involving Andrew Willock. This however is a transaction of a different nature as Andrew has signed on to the Danbury Whalers this season as their Assistant Director of Marketing as opposed to joining the team on the ice.
Andrew Willock, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, attended SUNY-Plattsburgh and graduated with a double major in Accounting & Business. Currently Andrew is working as an Accountant for Raines & Company in Brookfield.
In his management role with the Whalers, Andrew will focus on hospitality events for businesses and organizations. He will also manage the Danbury Whalers Kids Club. This program is set to work with kids under 12 and giving them exclusive opportunities throughout the season where they participate in events with the Whalers players.

As a player for the Whalers, Andrew played in 111 games (2nd most in team history) and was a member of the 2012-13 Championship team. He is the Whalers 7th leading all-time goal scorer with 38 and is 3rd in assists trailing only Cody Ayers & Matt Caranci. Overall in points, Willock sits 3rd also trailing only Ayers & Caranci as well.
