Dateless on Valentine's Day?
Win a Date with a Danbury Whalers Player
This Friday night it is Valentine's Day. The Danbury Whalers are offering their fans a chance to win a date with their favorite Danbury Whalers player.
At the game that night, place a bid on your favorite Danbury Whalers player and you will then receive an invitation to an exclusive Danbury Whalers date night on Wednesday, February 19th.
Date winners will get to spend that time with their favorite player - talk about hockey, talk about life, converse about the Hunger Game and what Katniss Everdeen will do next. It's up to you - it should be a great time.

Danbury Whalers Game Used Green Jersey Auction This Saturday
This Saturday, February 15th at 7:35 pm when the Danbury Whalers take on the Dayton Demonz, the Whalers will be auctioning off their game worn Kelly Green jerseys.
These are the actual jerseys the Whalers have been wearing all season.
Fans can place a bid on the jerseys and take them home that night.

Danbury Westerners Night This Sunday
The Danbury Whalers are home Sunday, February against the Danville Dashers.
Sunday against Danville is a special start time of 6:35 pm.
Sunday's game is the Danbury Westerners Night. For the fourth consecutive season, the Danbury Whalers and Danbury Westerners baseball team (members of the NECBL) will honor each other's organization at a home game.
The night is part of a continuing partnership where the Danbury Westerners and Danbury Whalers work towards promoting each other's season for the overall development of the Danbury sports landscape.
Throughout the night there will be prizes, contests, trivia, the ceremonial first puck will be dropped by member of the Danbury Westerners organization.
Commented Westerners, President, Paul Schaeffer, "We look forward to our Whalers night every season. It's great to see the organizations working together to build up the Danbury sports landscape."

This year, Mother's Day falls on Sunday, May 11th.
However if you are a Danbury Whalers fan - Friday, February 21st could be a special day for your and your mom.
Buffalo Wild Wings and the Danbury Whalers have announced the Inaugural Mom Appreciation Night. This event will take place on Friday, February 21st when the Whalers take on the Watertown Privateers.
On this night, Buffalo Wild Wings extends an offer to all Moms.
Receive a complimentary ticket to that night's Whalers game Enjoy a complimentary pre-game meal of wings Plus a beverage of your choice at Buffalo Wild Wings.
In addition at the game that night, all participating Moms will be invited down to the ice. Here they will participate in a contest to try to win a great gift package.
The on ice contest will be both crowd vote and competition as the crowd will get to vote on their favorite Mom story as well as a shootout challenge.

Buffalo Wild Wings with over 750 national franchises, opened in 2010 on 26 Backus Avenue in Danbury. Evan Manes and group, Four M Capital, the owners of the Danbury franchise, own nine franchises throughout the New York - Metro area.

Danbury Whalers Home This Weekend - Three Games
The Danbury Whalers are home this weekend for three games against three different teams. This weekend features a Valentine's Day game on Friday, February 14th at 7:35 pm vs. the Watertown Privateers. Saturday, February 15th is a battle for the top spot against Dayton. Gametime is 7:35 pm. Sunday, February 16th is a 6:35 PM start against the Danville Dashers.
Friday night's game features a Danbury Whalers player auction. Fans will have a chance to bid on winning a date with a Danbury Whalers player. If you were jilted on Valentine's Day this is a perfect opportunity for you. Fans who win the bids on the players will then get to enjoy a date next Wednesday (2/19) with that player. Should be a good time.
Saturday's game is the Green Jersey Auction. Fans will have a chance to bid on the Kelly Green Danbury Whalers jerseys. Win the auction and take the jersey home that night.
Sunday against Danville is a special start time of 6:35 pm. Due to the late start time, there will not be a postgame skate with the players after the game.

This weekend will also feature seven fundraising programs. Friday is Northwestern CT Youth Hockey Association and the New Milford High School Marching Band. Saturday is CVE Cheerleading, Sarah Noble Intermediate School, and New Milford Saints Youth Football & Cheer. Sunday is the Danbury Westerners & Danbury Ice Caberet Ensemble.

Banner Day - February 21st
NEW Prizes Announced
The Danbury Whalers and Union Savings Bank are proud to announce the Inaugural Banner Day promotion will be held on Friday, February 21st at the Danbury Ice Arena when the Whalers take on the Watertown Privateers. Gametime is 7:35 pm.
At the Danbury Whalers & Union Saving Bank Banner Day, fans of all ages will be asked to design and construct a banner with a message, slogan, or tribute to the team. There will be a panel of judges as well as a vote from the fans. The winning banners will take home a grand prize package courtesy of Union Savings Bank and the Danbury Whalers.
