Danbury Parking Authority Renews its Partnership
The Danbury Whalers are proud to announce that the Danbury Parking Authority has renewed its partnership with the club.
For the second straight season, fans will notice an emphasis placed staying out of the penalty box - the parking penalty box.
The Danbury Parking Authority and the Danbury Whalers will continue the campaign to educate and create awareness for hockey fans as to where they can park safely, legally, and most cost effectively in Danbury.
As a continued part of the program, season ticket holders will be offered a discounted parking rate. The regular game fee is $3.

Chris Casey Wins Lunch for the Year at TK's American Cafe
The Danbury Whalers and TK's American Café are proud to announce the grand prize winner of the "Lunch for the Year" promotion is Chris Casey from Brookfield, Connecticut.
Chris's winning package consists of a 12 month credit to TK's American Café on 255 White Street in Danbury. Chris will now be able to try some of the over 50 different flavors of wings at TK's including the Charlie, the Pterodactyl, Spicy Maui, Ugly Elf, and the Buffalo Hot.
TK's American Café has been a long-time supporter of hockey in Connecticut dating back to the original location in New Haven.

Dabury Whalers 3rd Annual Summer All-Star Game June 23rd at 7 pm
The Danbury Whalers have announced that Saturday, June 23 at 7:00 PM at the Danbury Ice Arena, the puck will drop for the Danbury Whalers 3rd Annual Summer All-Star Game.
The game is at the conclusion of the Danbury Whalers 2-Day Free Agent Camp on June 22nd & 23rd. The entire weekend will feature over 500 minutes of on ice action with players competing to earn spots in the October Training Camp.
On Saturday, June 23rd, the day gets underway at 11 am, workouts and game action will take place throughout the day with the last session finishing up at 1:50 pm. The workouts are open to the public, the admission for the All-Star Game is $5 - the event is free for season ticket holders.
Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Danbury Whalers at 973-713-7547 or at the ticket office on the day of the game.
Starting at 10 am, the Danbury Whalers staff will be selecting in priority number order seat locations with each individual season ticket holder. Danbury Whalers representatives from the organization will be on hand to discuss the upcoming season and the various ticket plans.
Free Agent Tryout Camp June 22nd & 23rd
The Danbury Whalers have announced the official dates for the Danbury Whalers Free Agent Tryout Camp. The two day event will begin on Friday, June 22nd 9AM running through to Saturday, June 23rd at 8:30 PM.
The Tryout Camp will be highlighted by Saturday's all day event which will feature the Second Annual Danbury Whalers Summer All-Star Game at 7 PM.
Following the team tryout camp in June, the Whalers will hold a final 10 day invitation only training camp in October to make up the final Opening Night roster.
As an added bonus, fans in attendance at the early sessions will get to vote which players they would like to see in the Saturday All-Star Game.
Over the past two years Danbury Whalers players Carlo Ricci, James Ryerse, Joe Spagnoli, Joe Dabkowski & John Madsen were signed through this camp.
Players are being directed to the team website at www.thedanburywhalers.com. There they will find a tryout registration form which they can email or mail back to the team to register. Player candidates must be 20 years or older to compete.
The Danbury Whalers are members of the Class 'A' Professional Federal Hockey League which will begin its 3rd season of play in October 2012. For the last two seasons the Danbury Whalers have led the Federal Hockey League in attendance with a nightly average of over 1,800 fans per game and promoted 40 players to the AHL (AAA) & ECHL (AA).

The Danbury Whalers are heading into their 3rd season and the club is currently taking reservations for season tickets plans and packages.
We can't stress enough, the Whalers offer ticket plans and program to meet every fans needs and fit into their budget.
On average, season ticket holders will save between 20-33% on their package of games and added benefits.
For the fan that comes to more than one game, it is worth looking into and speaking with a Whalers representative to see what options are out there.

Season ticket holders have the right of first refusal on their current seats and those wishing to purchase will be added to a priority waiting list for their seat selection. New seat selections will take place in June at the Summer All-Star game.
