Whalers Unveil Special Edition Jerseys

The Danbury Whalers have announced two special edition jerseys the club will debut this season. The new sweaters will be worn later this year with December 22nd as the target date for the first night. A finalized date for both jerseys will be announced in the coming weeks.

Both uniform tops are a primary base color of black. The first one combines green with a white outline on the black. This sweater is featuring an all green D in the club's jersey scheme for the first time. The second new sweater has a throw-back Danbury heritage look in tribute to the Danbury Trashers, the city's first professional hockey team. While not the identical color scheme to the Trashers, the blue is meant to honor the team that put the city of Danbury onto the minor league professional sports map.
