Danbury Titans Select Four Players in Dispersal Draft

Danbury, CT- The Federal Hockey League held a dispersal draft today from the protected lists of the inactive Brewster Bulldogs and Dayton Demolition. The Danbury Titans held four picks in the draft and selected forwards Martin Uhnak, Nikolai Okhlobystin, Dustin Jesseau, and Alex Johnson.

Uhnak has played two seasons in the FHL with the Berkshire Battalion and Dayton Demolition, putting up a torrid scoring pace. In 103 games in the FHL, Uhnak has 61 goals and 81 assists for 142 points. Martin also has extensive experience playing in Europe as a professional.

Okhlobystin spent his rookie season in North America with the Brewster Bulldogs and had a great season. He finished the year as Brewster's leading scorer with 31 goals and 33 assists for 66 points in 54 games. Prior to playing in Brewster, Okhlobystin spent time in Russia's VHL which is second only to the KHL.

Jesseau begain his rookie season with the Titans before heading to the Bulldogs where he took on a prominent offensive role. In 34 games with the Bulldogs Jesseau tallied 14 goals and 14 assists . Prior to the FHL, Jesseau spent time in the GMHL and other junior leagues in Canada.

Johnson played ACHA Division 3 hockey at South Dakota State before turning pro with the Bulldogs. In 56 games, Johnson tallied 22 goals and 15 assists for 37 points with the Bulldogs.
