Philadelphia, PA, February 24, 2009 - The Philadelphia KiXX announced today that the team has partnered with the nationally acclaimed architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning firm EwingCole to present the Don D'Ambra/Peter Pappas dual bobble head giveaway for the 2008-09 National Indoor Soccer League (NISL) season. The collectible will be distributed to the first 3,000 fans, 14 and under, and all season ticket holders on Sunday, March 1, as the team entertains the Rockford Rampage. Game-time at the Wachovia Spectrum is slated for 4:05 pm ET.
D'Ambra and Pappas are the only two players that have played with the team since the club's inception in 1996. D'Ambra, a Northeast Catholic and St. Joseph's graduate, holds the franchise mark in nearly every offensive category including points, goals, and games played. A native of Toronto, Ontario and Philadelphia University product, Pappas is the team's all-time leader in every goalkeeping category.
