SUNDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Sunday's games
v Carlos Powell led Dakota with 23 points, while Rod Benson chipped in with an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double in the Wizards' win.
v Los Angeles' Sean Banks finished with a team-high 29 points and Stephane Lasme netted 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the D-Fenders' four-point win over Sioux Falls.
v Alando Tucker, on assignment to Albuquerque from the Phoenix Suns, scored a game-high 39 points in the Thunderbirds' four-point victory.
D-LEAGUE SHOWCASE GETS UNDERWAY: The fourth annual D-League Showcase will tip off today at 3:45 p.m. ET at Qwest Arena in Boise, ID. The 14-game, 4-day schedule swings into action when the Bakersfield Jam takes on the Utah Flash in front of general managers, player personnel and scouts from each of the 30 NBA teams in the first of three games today.
