FRIDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Friday's games
Keith Langford scored 34 points in 44:50 minutes of action in Austin's two-point victory over Bakersfield.
Dwayne Mitchell dropped in 34 points as Iowa defeated Dakota in Bismarck.
On assignment from the Milwaukee Bucks, Ramon Sessions led Tulsa for the second straight game with 34 points in the win over Sioux Falls.
Julian Sensley totaled 28 points on 11-17 shooting in Colorado's one-point loss to Idaho.
In his first game in the D-League on assignment from the Boston Celtics, Gabe Pruitt scored 31 points as the Flash up-ended Anaheim by one point.
DOWN TO THE WIRE: The average margin of victory across last night's five games was a mere 3.4 points, with two games (Idaho/Colorado, Utah/Anaheim) being decided by one point and one game (Austin/Bakersfield) by two.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE MEN: Tulsa's Nick Fazekas, currently on assignment from the Dallas Mavericks, and Sioux Falls' Nik Caner-Medley each recorded double-doubles (points/rebounds) in last night's game. Caner-Medley scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in just over 37 minutes, while Fazekas scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in 34:43 minutes.
ASSIGN OF SUCCESS: Nine players on assignment from the NBA contributed in the D-League last night. As a group, NBA assigned players averaged 17.11 points, 5.55 rebounds and 2.33 assists in 30.94 minutes of play.
