REALLY, I'M SIRIUS: Get caught up on D-League happenings each Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET on "In the Paint" with NBA Legend Rick Barry on NBA Channel 127 of SIRIUS Satellite Radio. This week's guest is new Utah owner Brandt Andersen. The Utah team will begin play in 2007-08.

TAKING A LOOK: Including the Lakers, scouts from 11 NBA teams are scheduled to be on hand at the STAPLES Center today when the LA D-Fenders are host to the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Taking a peek are the Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Bobcats, Atlanta Hawks, San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Clippers. It's a good bet the Pacers might take a look prior to their game against the Lakers tonight as well.

BYE BYE O-FER: Both Bakersfield and Idaho won for the first time this season on Sunday, leaving the Austin Toros as the only team in the league without a "dub".

TAKE A BREATHER: After playing five games in eight days to open the season, the Bakersfield Jam plays just twice in the next 13 days.

FREE BASKETBALL: Arkansas and Albuquerque couldn't get enough of one another over the weekend, playing two overtimes on Friday and then going to the extra period again Sunday. The RimRockers won both games.
