IN GOOD HANDS: It was probably no coincidence that Vonteego Cummings had the ball in his hands when it was time to nail the game-winning three-pointer with just seconds left against Tulsa on Wednesday. In three games, Cummings is 10-of-13 (.769) from behind the trey line.
NBA TV GAME OF THE WEEK: The NBA TV crew will be at Germain Arena in Fort Myers on Friday to record all the action of the Florida Flame season opener against Roanoke. The game will air on NBA TV November 29 at 2 p.m. ET and on December 3 at noon.
D-LEAGUE QUIZ: Can you name the four NBA teams designated as Austin Toros affiliates for the 2005-06 season? Keep reading for the answer.
CREEPING UP: Fort Worth guard Ime Udoka's 67 points in three games has him knocking on the door of the D-League career top 10 scoring list. Udoka, who played two seasons with the Charleston Lowgators (02-03, 03-04) has scored 1,276 D-League points and needs 77 more to move past Cory Alexander into 10th all-time.
WATCHFUL EYES: Thirteen (13) NBA teams will have everyone from general managers to scouts dispatched to D-League games Friday through Sunday.
THANKSGIVING HOURS: In observance of Thanksgiving the NBA, D-League and WNBA offices (NY, NJ, Greenville, Fayetteville, Roanoke) are closed today and Friday. The offices will reopen on Monday, November 28.
QUIZ ANSWER: The San Antonio Spurs, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers are the 2005-06 NBA affiliates of the Austin Toros.
