Cubs vs. Threshers Postponed to Tuesday Doubleheader

Daytona Tortugas News Release


The Daytona Cubs vs. Clearwater Threshers game scheduled for Monday, August 27th at 7:05p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark has been postponed due to weather. The two teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Tuesday, August 28th, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 5:05p.m. All tickets for Monday's game can be exchanged for any future 2012 regular season Daytona Cubs game. All Belly-Buster Monday tickets can be exchanged for a free food voucher. The Cubs will be home from Tuesday through Sunday, September 2nd to end the 2012 season.

The final six days will feature a Silver Sluggers Tuesday, $1 Dollar Wednesday and the final chance to see the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Jerseys which are available via auction at daytonacubs.com, Thirsty Thursday, Dog Days & The Pearl Dig on Friday, Fireworks on both Saturday & Sunday, and Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday as well. It has officially rained at Jackie Robinson Ballpark 20 of the last 21 days.
