CSA Announces U-20 Roster for Camp in Mexico

Edmonton, AB Canada (June 30, 2012) - Canada has announced details and roster for an upcoming men's U-20 camp in Mexico from 1-9 July 2012. Canadian U-20 coach Nick Dasovic has selected 20 players for the nine-day camp that will include two international matches against host Mexico.

The two Men's U-20 International Friendly matches will be played against Mexico on Friday 6 July and Sunday 8 July.

Coach Dasovic's selections currently play club football in either Canada or across the ocean in Europe. This marks coach Dasovic's second project for 1993-born players, with an eye towards next year's biennial CONCACAF & FIFA competitions. Canada will compete in the 2013 CONCACAF Men's Under-20 Championship from 18 February to 3 March in Mexico. Four teams from the 12-team tournament will qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Turkey 2013.
