DENVER, Colo. (Feb. 1, 2004) - The Colorado Crush announced today that they have traded wide receiver/linebacker Joe Douglass to the Los Angeles Avengers in exchange for future considerations.
The 5-11, 185-pound Douglass started 15 games for the Crush in 2003, catching 79 passes for 1,031 yards and 15 touchdowns. He was selected by Colorado with the first pick of the 2003 AFL Expansion Draft following two seasons with the Chicago Rush.
The Crush will kick off their second season when they host the Las Vegas Gladiators on February 6, 2004 at the Pepsi Center.
