DENVER, Colo. - With two pivotal weeks left in the 2008 season, the Colorado Crush have found time to make a visit to patients and their families at the Veterans Hospital in Denver.

Crush players, coaches and staff will visit from 1-3 p.m. tomorrow June 10th at the V.A. Hospital at 1055 Clermont St. in Denver. The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System encompasses a major referral medical center in Denver, Nursing Home Care Units in Denver and Pueblo, and seven Community Based Outpatient Clinics stretching from metropolitan Denver to the southern tier of Colorado.

"This will be a chance for the entire organization to give back to those veterans that gave their time and effort to serve our country," head coach Mike Dailey said Monday.

The Crush has many personal connections to the Armed Forces, including first year player Charrod Taylor, who enlisted in the U.S. Navy out of high school and before playing college football at Georgia Southern University.
