NEW YORK - The Colorado Crush (8-3), who visit the Kansas City Brigade (2-9) at the Kemper Arena on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBC, became the first AFL team to clinch a playoff berth in the Drive to ArenaBowl XX Las Vegas.
Colorado, who captured the ArenaBowl XIX title with a 51-48 win over Georgia on June 12, 2005, secured a spot in this year's postseason following last night's 69-59 win by the San Jose SaberCats over the Las Vegas Gladiators.
The Dallas Desperados (9-2), who take on the Grand Rapids Rampage (3-8) tonight at 9:00 p.m. ET, can become the second team to clinch a playoff berth with a win and a loss tonight by the Tampa Bay Storm (6-5) to the Austin Wranglers (7-4).
ArenaBowl XX will be played at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on June 11, 2006.
