Erie BayHawks News Release
Erie, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, May 13 - The Erie BayHawks have announced that head coach Gene Cross will not return to coach the team for the 2014-15 season.
In two seasons under Cross, Erie compiled a 42-58 record, missing the playoffs in both seasons. The BayHawks had three players (Henry Sims, Terrel Harris and Jeremy Tyler) receive NBA Call-Ups during his tenure.
"We appreciate the energy and effort that Gene brought to the organization both on and off the court the last two years and wish him success in the future," said BayHawks majority owner Steve Demetriou.
No timetable has been set to name a new head coach.
