
CPIFL Season Kicks-Off on Friday

Lawrence, KS. - The Champions Professional Indoor Football League (CPIFL) begins it's second season on Friday night as teams begin the road to Champions Bowl II. The opening weekend features four games over three days. The regular season will culminate on June 7. The league's top four teams will proceed to the playoffs with Champions Bowl II taking place the weekend of June 20.
The season opens with the defending champion Wichita Wild traveling to Lincoln to play the Haymakers on Friday night. On Saturday, the Kansas Koyotes visit the Oklahoma Defenders. Sunday features two games as Sioux City hosts Salina in a playoff rematch from 2013 and Omaha hosts Dodge City in the first game in the history of the Law. Bloomington opens the season with a bye. Each of the league's nine teams will play 12 games in the regular season.
