Coulee Region Chill to Hold Final Camp

Coulee Region Chill News Release


The heat index is over 100 degrees, so what better way to beat the heat than to get out to the Onalaska Omni Center and Chill at the Coulee Region Chill's Final Camp!

The camp runs from Wed-Sun at Omni Center Rink 2 and the schedule is as follows:

Wednesday 7/20

- 2:00-4:15 pm Goalie session - 7:30-9:454 pm Goalie session

Thursday 7/21

- 12:00-2:15 pm Goalie session - 6:00-9:00 pm Practice

Friday 7/22

- 10:00-1:30 pm Games - 5:00-8:30 pm Games

Saturday 7/23

- 10:00-1:30 pm games - 6:00-8:00 pm All Star Game 1

Sunday 7/24

- 11:00-1:00 pm All Star Game 2 - Team Meetings (Selection)

*The Chill Final Camp is open to the public and the Omni Center will have beverages available for purchase at concessions and there will be a station set up with brats and burgers available for purchase as well.

This camp will packed with over 100 players competing for their spot on the 2011'12 Coulee Region Chill roster. Returning veterans and rookie talent will be broken up into teams and play 3 sets of games in the first cut, followed by 2 All Star Games on Saturday night and Sunday.

The Chill in their 2nd year at the Omni Center have added to their gameday excitement with more chances to win free shwag, the new "Ice Crew" and a new Chill gameday Omni Center voice in Brian Simpson from 95-7 The Rock's "Morning Sickness" with Brian & Jean.

Chill broadcasts can now be heard on La Crosse Radio Group Sports 1490 WLFN. Rik Franke will again be the voice of Chill hockey for all 60 games and the playoffs. Chill broadcasts will also be streamed all over the world at sports.lacrosseradiogroup.net/chill.

Blue Moon Saloon on Hwy 35 in Onalaska will also telecast all of the Chill road games this season on Fasthockey.com, offering fans a chance at 5 free wings if the Chill score 5 goals. Thats 5 free wings If you are there at Blue Moon watching the road games and at the Omni Center for all home games you just bring in your ticket stub with 5 Chill goals.
