Cougars re-sign Leone
February 15, 2007 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)
California Cougars News Release
(STOCKTON, CALIF., FEBRUARY 15, 2007) - The California Cougars announced the addition of a former Cougar for the team's playoff push. Veteran forward Ato Leone rejoins a Cougars club in the hunt for a playoff spot with nine games remaining.
Joining the Cougars for the final stretch of the Cougars season, Leone is a key addition to the club. Leone will add firepower to the offense, and hopefully help California get the last wins needed to make the playoffs. An original member of the California Cougars, Leone has spent the off season playing in the Premier Indoor Soccer League with Estadio Azteca All-Stars and was a member of the World team in the PASL's All-Star game held at the Stockton Arena on February 10.
In 2002-03 he was an All-Star with the Harrisburg Heat and in 2001 was the WISL's MVP with the Sacramento Knights.
