
Cosnos Sports becomes official marketing and sponsorship partner of NAHL

Frisco, TX -- The North American Hockey League has announced an agreement with Cosmos Sports of Mississauga, Ontario, to be the league's official marketing and sponsorship partner.
In this capacity, Cosmos Sports will be responsible for building and maintaining the NAHL's roster of corporate sponsors.
"The NAHL is excited about its new partnership with Cosmos Sports," said Michael Santos, commissioner and president of the league. "Cosmos Sports is a leader in the field or sports marketing and sponsorship sales and especially respected in the hockey world."

"In recent years, the NAHL has shown great progress -- both on and off the ice -- in the development of hockey in the United States. Cosmos Sports looks forward to assisting the league in achieving its business objectives, and in particular, bringing the corporate community closer to the 1,500,000 million fans who attend NAHL games each year."
Cosmos Sports was founded by former Hamilton Bulldogs (AHL) president Cary Kaplan, and is a sports marketing company determined to "win the business of sports." Cosmos Sports has worked with numerous teams, leagues, athletes, fans, sponsors, media publications and sports enthusiasts in an effort to help them reach their respective financial and personal goals.
Cosmos is managed by several executives with a background in sports. Of special interest to the business of the NAHL, the company's director of business operations, Scott Mosey, who was a record-breaking Canadian university goalkeeper, has worked in the hockey industry with teams, leagues and athletes for nearly 15 years and brings his expertise to the NAHL.
