
Cosmos Individual Game Tickets on Sale Starting Monday, February 29

New York - The New York Cosmos announced today that individual game tickets for the team's 2016 North American Soccer League (NASL) season will be available for purchase beginning this Monday, Feb. 29 at 10 a.m. ET.
Starting Monday morning, fans can secure tickets to any of the Cosmos' 16 NASL home games at Hofstra University's Shuart Stadium by visiting nycosmos.com/tickets, calling 855-71-COSMOS or coming to the club's Long Island office at 100 Quentin Roosevelt Blvd. in Garden City, N.Y. Tickets start at just $15.
Located a block off Stewart Avenue - on the fifth floor of Garden City Center - the Cosmos box office will be open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. ET Monday. Free parking is available in the back of the building and cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
The race for an eighth Soccer Bowl Trophy begins Sunday, April 3 at Shuart Stadium with a Championship Final rematch against Ottawa Fury FC. New York will also open its Fall Season against the Fury, welcoming them back to Shuart Stadium on Saturday, July 2 at 7 p.m. ET.
Other prominent home dates include showdowns with NASL Golden Era rivals the Tampa Bay Rowdies on May 22 and Aug. 13, and the first-ever trips to New York for league expansion sides Rayo OKC (May 28), Puerto Rico FC (July 30) and Miami FC (Oct. 22). For the fourth consecutive season the Cosmos will be led by head coach Giovanni Savarese, a former star striker for the Long Island Rough Riders and New York MetroStars, and captain Carlos Mendes, a Mineola native who has guided the team to two championships since the reboot. The squad also features legendary Venezuelan midfielder Juan Arango, El Salvador national team captain Andrés Flores and NASL Best XI goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer.
The promotion schedule for 2016 New York Cosmos home matches will be announced in the coming weeks.
