Copes, Brim & Pack Are Back

March 21, 2012 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL)
Saginaw Sting News Release

After assessing their needs coming out of a sizeable victory last week against Chicago the Sting reached out to former Sting players to fill the voids they felt were necessary.

Re-signing from last season are starting center Joshua Pack and offensive lineman Eric Brim. Pack & Brim are familiar with protecting QB Tommy Jones, having successfully done so along the Sting's path to a 2011 Indoor Football Championship.

Josh Pack, a 6'5", 300lbs. center from Avon Lake, Ohio who played his college ball at Mount Union College after graduation at Avon Lake High School, will step back immediately into his starting role following the release of Demetri Visvardis. In addition Eric Brim, a 6'5", 355lbs. offensive lineman, from Indianapolis, Indiana, who played at Joliet Junior College after attending High School at Moorseville in 2007 will return to his familiar role as well.

The Sting also added defensive back, Demarcus Copes from Saginaw Valley State University. Copes was part of the Sting during the 2009 season after finishing his career at SVSU.

The Saginaw Sting continue the home stand with a game this Sunday, March 25th at 4:30PM on Draper Auto Field inside The Dow Event Center against the Indianapolis Enforcers. For more information visit www.SaginawSting.com.
