Georgia Force News Release

Duluth, GA (August 2, 2011) - The Georgia Force are headed to Jacksonville for their third conference championship game in franchise history. Though they will not have a chance to capture the title in front of a hometown crowd, fans are invited to take part in the Force's official viewing party on Monday night at Arena Tavern.

"If we can't watch the game live at The Arena at Gwinnett Center, this is the next-best thing," said Force president Cory Howerton. "There will be delicious food, cold beverages, and a chance to watch a piece of franchise history with our closest friends."

Fans are invited to arrive at Arena Tavern, located at 2000 Satellite Boulevard Northwest in Duluth, starting at 7:30. The American Conference Championship Game will be shown live on the bar's numerous large-screen HDTV sets with kickoff at 8:00. The Force cheerleaders, mascot Blu and staff members will be on hand to give away a variety of Force merchandise as well as one grand prize, a V.I.P. on-field experience prior to the 2012 home opener.

After knocking off Cleveland 50-41 in the first round, the Force take on the Jacksonville Sharks on NFL Network Monday night at 8:00. The winner will advance to ArenaBowl XXIV on Friday, August 12 to face either Arizona or Chicago, to be determined by Saturday's National Conference Championship Game.
