Conference Champions Announced

July 11, 2011 - Indoor Football League (IFL) News Release


Richmond, VA: The Indoor Football League is proud to announce their Conference Champions for the 2011 Season. Four teams would matchup this weekend to make their way towards the United Bowl Championship, but only two would advance towards glory.

The Sioux Falls Storm would show that past times were no fluke, as they hoisted the United Conference Trophy for another year. The Storm would come out in dominating fashion in the Conference Championship winning by over 30 points with a score of 52 - 12 and showing they will not be taken lightly in the United Bowl.

The Tri-Cities Fever will also advance to the United Bowl Contest. QB Houston Lillard would throw for 7 touchdowns over the home team Wranglers to advance to the finals with a score of 67-46. The Fever will have their work cut out for them as they face the now 15-1 Storm.
