SERIES HISTORY:

Tonight is Game 2 of the best-of-seven National Conference Quarterfinals. This is the second straight year the Condors and the Falcons have met in the postseason.

Tuesday night at The Nest, Fresno drew first blood in the series with a decisive 7-3 victory. The Falcons jumped out to a 2-0 lead just 3:26 into the contest, but midway through the second period, the Condors broke through when Brett Lutes tipped in Sean Venedam's drive from the point on the power play to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Fresno regained the two-goal lead early in the third, before Bakersfield responded with back-to-back goals by Josh Liebenow in a span of 2:29 to knot the game at 3-3. But Dustin VanBallegooie tallied 21 seconds later, and the Falcons scored three more times to seal the victory.

After one game of playoff competition, the Condors lead the league in attendance with 4,209 fans.
