
Compton Cobras To Co-Host Summer Madne$$ Tournament

Compton, CA. The ABA Compton Cobras will be co-hosting a SUMMER MADNE$$ TOURNAMENT with Game Time Sports on June 5th and 6th starting at 8am at the Pomona High School. The entry fee for the tournament is $400 per team (Paypal only) and all players must be 21 and older. Teams must register by June 1st.
According to Tyrone Rodgers, owner of the Compton Cobras, "the first place team will receive $2500 and the second place team will receive $800." We'll play with two 20 minute halves, running clock and will use the regulation clock in the last two minutes providing the score stays under a 10 point deficit."
Other rules include a 24 second shot clock, team can advance the ball to half court on turnovers in the backcourt, pool play with 4 backets with the winner in each bracket advancing the the semi-finals. HNo closely guarded 5 second clock, not using bottom block on free throws, and players must have numbered jerseys. Team tech if you don't, no exceptions.
