Cincinnati Commandos News Release
CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Commandos will observe Armed Forces Day by celebrating Military Appreciation Night when they take on the Chicago Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on May 15 at Cincinnati Gardens.
Half-priced tickets are available in advance of gameday at select Kroger-Ticketmaster locations and the Cincinnati Gardens box office with presentation of a valid military ID (limit two tickets per ID). Day-of-game purchases are eligible for a $2 discount on up to two tickets with either a valid military or student ID.
Scheduled guests appearances include: the Ohio Patriot Guard Riders; a VA Mobile Health Unit; Joint Services Color Guard; as well as representatives from the local National Guard and Reserve Units.
The first-place Commandos (7-0) look to move one game closer to clinching the No. 1 seed in the CIFL playoffs against a Cardinals team they defeated 62-22 on May 1.
Any combination of three wins from Cincinnati or two losses losses by the second-place Wisconsin Wolfpack (6-1) would assure the Commandos home-field advantage throughout the CIFL postseason.
