Cincinnati Commandos News Release
The Cincinnati Commandos improved their record to a perfect 7-0 Saturday after defeating the Marion Mayhem 38-20 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Marion, Ohio.
Cincinnati relied on a stingy defense that held Marion to 158 total offensive yards, forced two turnovers and two sacks.
As the only remaining undefeated team in the CIFL, the Commandos magic number to clinch the No. 1 seed in the playoffs is three.
In recognition of Armed Forces Day, the Commandos will celebrate Military Appreciation Night when they return to action 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 at Cincinnati Gardens vs. the Chicago Cardinals.
