COLUMBUS, Ga., May 6 â The Columbus Riverdragons have placed season tickets on sale for the 2004-05 National Basketball Development League season. With the goal of providing increased value and benefits to season ticket holders, the Riverdragons are offering an array of benefits such as trips to an Atlanta Hawks home game at Phillips Arena and a Riverdragons away game in Huntsville, Ala., membership in the brand new Riverdragons VIP Rewards Card program, and a complimentary NBA-Spalding "Pebble Grain" notebook.
Season ticket packages for all Riverdragons home games at the Columbus Civic Center start as low as $230. Plus, fans who purchase their season tickets before September 1, 2004 can maximize their savings by receiving a 10% discount. In addition, courtside season ticket holders will be entered to win an all-expense paid trip to the 2005 NBA All-Star Game in Denver, Colorado.
As an incentive for fans, the Riverdragons are offering the innovative Riverdragons VIP Rewards Card program for all season ticket holders. By using their Riverdragons VIP Rewards Card, season ticket holders will receive discounts on products and services at participating businesses, such as restaurants and retail stores, across the Chattahoochee Valley.

For the first time in franchise history, the Riverdragons will introduce the "Dragons Family Four Pack" which includes: Four tickets to six Riverdragons games The same seats for all six games Each ticket accompanied by a voucher for a free hot dog, bag of Tom's Chips, and a Coca-Cola soft drink
Individual game tickets start at $10.00 (Upper Bowl A and B). Other prices are $14 (Lower Bowl B), $16 (Lower Bowl A) and $25 (courtside).
Group tickets for groups of 15 or more individuals are priced at $7 per seat, a savings of up to 50% off individual ticket prices for premium seats to Riverdragons games in 2004-05. Riverdragons group tickets are an excellent option for any church group, youth sports team, club, company or organization.
In appreciation of the men and women of the armed forces, the Riverdragons are offering a Military Discount, with all members of the military who show their military ID card receiving admission for only $8. And, once again the Dragons are offering their popular Rivvy D Kids Ticket, with all tickets for kids 12 and under priced at just $7.50.
The 2004-05 NBDL season runs November 2004 through April 2005 with the Riverdragons hosting 23 home games at the Columbus Civic Center.

The NBDL, the NBA's minor league, includes the Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Charleston Lowgators (S.C.), Huntsville Flight (Ala.), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.), Columbus Riverdragons (Ga.) and Asheville Altitude (N.C.).
The league offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Twenty-eight (28) players have been called up the NBA on 39 separate occasions. Five former NBDL coaches, two athletic trainers, six referees and 22 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.
Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The NBDL is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
