
Columbus Riverdragons Individual Game Tickets Now On Sale

COLUMBUS, Ga., October 29 â The Columbus Riverdragons have placed individual game tickets on sale for the 2004-05 National Basketball Development League regular season. Tickets are now available at the Columbus Civic Center box office and all Ticketmaster outlets, including Publix supermarkets. Tickets can also be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-4-NBA-TIX or by logging onto ticketmaster.com.
Individual game tickets start at $10.00 (Upper Bowl A and B). Other prices are $14 (Lower Bowl B), $16 (Lower Bowl A), and $25 (Courtside). Group tickets for groups of 15 or more individuals are priced at $7 per seat, a savings of up to 50% off individual ticket prices for premium seats to Riverdragons games in 2004-05. Riverdragons group tickets are an excellent option for any church group, youth sports team, club, company, or organization. Group tickets are now available by calling Matt LaBranche in the Riverdragons ticket office at (706) 225-1112.
In appreciation of the men and women of the armed forces, the Riverdragons are offering a Military Discount, with all members of the military who show their military ID card receiving admission for only $8. The Dragons are also offering their popular Rivvy D Kids Ticket, with all tickets for kids 12 and under priced at just $7.50.
The Riverdragons, along with Sprint PCS, Tom's Foods, and Coca-Cola have also announced the introduction of the new Friends and Family Flex Plan. For only $48, Riverdragons fans can purchase four premium tickets to a Riverdragons home game and receive four hot dogs, four bags of Tom's Foods chips, four Coca-Cola soft drinks, four souvenir programs, and four free Sprint PCS Vision camera phones with activation of new line of service and a two-year agreement.

The 2004-05 NBDL season runs November 2004 through April 2005 with the Riverdragons hosting 25 home games at the Columbus Civic Center. Opening night is Saturday, November 20 as the Dragons host the Huntsville Flight at 6:00 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center. The following are key promotional game dates for 2004-05:

The NBDL, the NBA's minor league, includes the Fayetteville Patriots (N.C.), Florida Flame (Ft. Myers), Huntsville Flight (Ala.), Roanoke Dazzle (Va.), Columbus Riverdragons (Ga.) and Asheville Altitude (N.C.).
The league offers players the opportunity to develop their talent in a highly competitive atmosphere under the NBA's umbrella. Twenty-eight (28) players have been called up the NBA on 39 separate occasions. Nine former NBDL coaches, five athletic trainers, six referees and 28 front office executives have also been called up since the start of the league's inaugural season in November 2001.
Designed to help grow the sport of basketball both domestically and internationally, the league also offers fun, family entertainment at affordable prices. The NBDL is a source of on-court talent for the NBA's 30 teams and is a diverse human resources pool for the NBA and its teams by training employees in management, operations, public relations, sales and marketing positions.
