
Colorado's Wulder named Player of the Week

Colorado Mammoth forward Jason Wulder was named both the Overall Player and Offensive Player of the Week for his MVP performance in the Mammoth's 10-9 win over Calgary in Saturday's NLL opener at Pepsi Center. The former Roughneck, who was acquired from Edmonton this offseason in a deal for Ben Prepchuk, scored three goals, including the game-winner, a power-play goal with 7:23 remaining in regulation, and added one assist in his Mammoth debut.
Colorado's Josh Sims was named Transition Player of the Week. Sims scored one goal and one assist, and scooped six loose balls.
Mammoth goaltender Gee Nash was named Defensive Player of the Week. Nash recorded 37 saves and held the Roughnecks to only nine goals.
Calgary's Dane Dobbie was named Rookie of the Week. The 21-year-old forward scored one goal and one assist, and scooped five loose balls in his pro debut.
