Fort Wayne Komets (#2) vs. Rockford IceHogs (#5)

Rockford leads series 2-1

Rockford used a four-goal third period on Wednesday to earn the 6-3 victory and move ahead in the series 2-1. Winger Brandon Segal netted two goals for Rockford as five different players tallied a goal for the IceHogs. Segal leads all playoff scorers with 10 goals. Goaltender Michel Robinson made 30 saves and collected his sixth win of the postseason. Robinson leads all UHL goaltenders in the postseason with 312 saves. Rockford defenseman Nathan Lutz and center Alex Kim extended their playoff point streaks to seven games.

After scoring seven goals in game one, Fort Wayne has scored four goals combined in games two and three.

Fort Wayne center Colin Chaulk is riding a four-game assist streak in the playoffs and leads the Komets with eight assists in the postseason.

Muskegon Fury (#1) vs. Danbury Trashers (#6)

Muskegon leads series 3-0

A four-goal third period for Muskegon on Wednesday night propelled the Fury to a 6-3 win and a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. Muskegon right wing Robin Bouchard tallied his second straight game-winning goal. Goaltender Sylvain Daigle made 31 saves for his league leading seventh victory in the playoffs. Left wing Brant Blackned is currently riding a seven-game assist streak in the postseason.

Danbury has been outscored in the series 13-6. Center Jeff Daw leads the Trashers in playoff scoring with eight points (2g, 6a). Goaltender Scott Stirling has the second most saves in the UHL during the postseason (265).
