College Baseball: Week 2 Recap

The college baseball season has now been underway for two full weeks. Many former and current Silver Knights have been tearing up the college baseball landscape.

Kyle Bonicki (Clark) won player of the week for their conference and St. Johns defeated UNC with 4 strong innings by '16 NSK Sean Mooney.

Host Families Needed

The Silver Knights are currently seeking host families for the 2017 season. If you are interested in hosting a college baseball player in your house from Memorial Day until the middle of August, please contact the Silver Knights office at 603-718-8883 or email us at info@nashuasilverknights.com!

Andrew Jaehnig: Player Profile

Andrew Jaehnig, a junior catcher from Assumption College, will be joining the Silver Knights for the 2017 season. So far for the Greyhounds in 2017, Andrew is 7 for 14 at the dish including 3 doubles, 1 homerun and 6 runs batted in.

In 2016, the Quincy, MA native and BC High alum batted .339 with 56 hits in just 44 games. Of those 56 hits, 12 were doubles, 3 were triples and 5 were homeruns.

The accounting major is looking forward to the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of the crowds throughout the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England this summer.

Individual Tickets to go on Sale April 10th

With the start of the Silver Knights season being just 3 months away, individual tickets will be going on sale very soon. On April 10th, you will be able to buy tickets for individual games online, in person or on the phone. Ticket prices remain the same as last season.

Upper and lower box: $6 ($7 day of game)

Padded box: $7 ($8 day of game)

Children 10 and under: $3 ($4 day of game)

Children 3 and under: FREE

The Dragon Slayer Tavern: Craft Beer and Mixed Drinks

The Dragon Slayer Tavern is your place at Holman Stadium when you're looking for a cold craft beer or a mixed drink.

Each Thursday night, you can meet the people who make the beer that is spotlighted that night as part of our "Meet the Brewer" series.

Also, dont forget to get your two-for-one mixed drinks right up until the first pitch each night during happy hour!

Silver Knights Office Closed This Thursday

The Silver Knights office will be closed this Thursday, March 9th. We will be at Holy Cross attending the FCBL front office meetings to discuss the upcoming season and how we can all work together to make this league the best it can be. Our office will re-open on Friday at 10am.

Baseball Camp July 10th-14th

The annual Silver Knights Baseball Camp will be back at Holman Stadium from Monday, July 10th through Friday, July 14th! Campers enjoy a fun week of baseball with current Silver Knights players right on the field at Holman Stadium! Campers receive an exclusive camp t-shirt, lunch each day and memories for a lifetime! Sign Up for the 2017 Sterlings Kids Club!

Sign your children (12 years old and under) up for our FREE kids club for the 2017 season! Kids club members get FREE admission to all Monday and Wednesday games this season because of the way our schedule is set up. Kids club members also get a kids club membership card that can be shown at the box office for the free tickets and for a 10% discount at the merchandise kiosk!
