FRISCO, Texas - Former Frisco RoughRiders pitcher Cole Winn made his MLB debut with the Texas Rangers on Sunday, April 14th in their game against the Houston Astros from Minute Maid Park.
Winn came out of the bullpen in the Rangers' 8-5 loss and did not allow a base runner over 1.2 innings, striking out Jose Abreu for his first and only strikeout of the outing.

Among those who threw at least 70 innings during the 2021 season in the minors, Winn finished first with a .143 batting average against and third in WHIP (0.82).
Over the last three seasons (2022-2024), Winn has pitched in Round Rock and was called up to Texas from the Express.
Winn is the fifth former RoughRiders player to make his MLB debut in 2024 and the 202nd player in franchise history, joining Wyatt Langford, Justin Slaten, Justin Foscue and Davis Wendzel.
