
Cole Ceci Commits to the Hamilton Bulldogs

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - Hamilton Bulldogs President and General Manager Steve Staios announced today that the club has signed 2014 tenth Round Selection, goaltender Cole Ceci to a Standard Players Agreement. Ceci, 18, spent last season with the Bulldogs Affiliate, the Ancaster Avalanche. In 32 regular season games he posted a 2.57 GAA, and a .921 Save Percentage. Ceci also appeared in 10 playoff games, including an 85 save performance versus St. Catharines. "Cole is the type of player and person that we covet for the Hamilton Bulldogs. He is a tremendous person, and has a relentless work ethic. Combine that with great athleticism, we feel that Cole provides us with more strength at the goaltender position." Staios said.
Hamilton will open its 2nd season in the Ontario Hockey League Friday, September 23 when they visit the Mississauga Steelheads. The Bulldogs home opener is slated for Saturday, September 24 as Hamilton takes on the Kingston Frontenacs at the FirstOntario Centre.
