Coach makes the cuts

LAKE CHARLES – Coach Kip Texada has and his coaching staff have made the final cuts for the 2005 Swashbucklers season. "This team has more talent than we ever expected. The players have spread the word all over the state about assembling a winning team here in Lake Charles and that's exactly what we're done. We have the team, we have the heart and we have the vision. We will provide a winning team. Now it's up to the fans to support professional sports."

The Swashbucklers' 2005 season will kick off Saturday, March 26th as they host the Lubbock Lone Stars. The Legend has begun.
