Coach Guest Speaker at Youth Banquet

Harrisburg Stampede News Release
Lykens, Pa - In this job of Professional Indoor Football there are so many things that can bring you down. A bad practice, a bad game, injured players, a broken down bus in the middle of a 12 hour road trip. I think you get the idea. But there are some things that are really great and so worth it, and tonight was one of those nights.
I was invited by Edgar Cohen of the Millersburg Midget Football Association to be their Guest Speaker at the organizations year end banquet for their players, cheerleaders, coaches and families. It was an honor and privilege to be asked to speak to the group tonight. It really is a pleasure to look out over a couple hundred folks, especially those young and wide eyed little guys and tell them bits and pieces of my journey from a young kid playing Pee-Wee football up through High School, College to the NFL and finishing with Coaching the Harrisburg Stampede of the AIF. In between reminding them of being a good sport, working hard on the practice field and even harder in the classroom at school. Being respectful to their teachers, coaches, parents and each other.
I just want to Thank the entire Millersburg organization for the invite, a great meal and a chance to be a part of their year-end banquet. My best wishes to all of them in their future endeavors and I just hope they enjoyed my message and talk as much as I did presenting it to them.
Just a Reminder: The First Stampede Open-Try Out is Sunday November 27 at In The Net, Registration starts at 8am and Work-Out is from 9am - 11:30am
