July 31, 2014 - American Indoor Football (AIF) News Release

CLEVELAND, OH (July 31st, 2014) - American Indoor Football (AIF) Owner/CEO John Morris announced today that John "J. Rock" Allen and his partnership group has acquired the League's Cleveland Territory. The new team will be named the Cleveland Saints and will begin play in 2015 AIF Season.

"We proudly welcome the Cleveland Saints into the AIF," said AIF Owner/CEO John Morris. "This is a move that will help solidify our league. The Greater Cleveland metropolitan area is home to more than 2,000,000 people that will be exposed to the AIF's brand of indoor football. We look forward to intense rivalries between Buffalo and Rochester that will captivate those areas."

"Cleveland is a legendary sports town," said J. Rock, CEO of Cleveland Saints Football Club. "We are thrilled to contribute to the energy and growth of Cleveland Indoor Football. We will carry over our pride and traditions of the Saints outdoor team." Allen goes on, "Like we like to say. Let's take them to church. We will carry over that intensity to the AIF."

Including John, the others in the investment group of the Saints are; Rich Owens, President and Patrick Smith, Head of Football Operations.

The Saints embody the motto of the AIF, "Community, Family, Football." The Saints provide the youth of the area with a program, the Jr. Saints. It is a team consisting of youth aged players. The team is coached by the players of the Saints, as the organization wants the youth to have positive roles models to look up to. This kind of give back to the community will help the Saints grow as a complete organization.

The Cleveland area is one of North America's most vibrant and proud football communities. In joining the AIF the Saints will enhance that experience for all of the fans of the area. Football and Indoor Football is one of this country's most exciting and popular sports and it will be played in front of one of the most rabid fan basses around.
