Clearwater Threshers News Release
CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Clearwater Threshers have set a new single-game attendance record for Spectrum Field with 10,055 announced on July 3, 2019. The evening was capped by the Threshers' famous Independence Day fireworks celebration after the game with the Fort Myers Miracle.
The record surpassed the previous mark of 9,844, set on July 3, 2015, against the Tampa Yankees.
"We are honored that so many fans gave us the opportunity to entertain them," said Clearwater Threshers General Manager Jason Adams. "Our staff worked extremely hard to provide an incredible evening and we appreciate their efforts."
The Clearwater Threshers have been playing their home games at Spectrum Field since the 2004 opening of the ballpark. The Philadelphia Phillies also make the facility their Spring Training home.
