Richmond lost the First Division Championship Game to the Seattle Sounders in penalty kicks last year.

U.S. OPEN CUP UPDATE:
The City Islanders enter the week ranked seventh out of eight teams in USL Second Division qualifying for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. The league's top five teams based on point percentage (points earned divided by maximum possible points) from games played through May 28 qualify for the tournament. The Charlotte Eagles receive an automatic berth as defending league champs. Charlotte and the top three qualifiers enter the tourney in the second (beginning June 28) while the bottom two qualifiers enter in the first round (beginning June 14).
The City Islanders have earned one of a possible six points (16%) through their first two games. The club's next three regular season games (May 14, 20, and 27) are all qualifiers, meaning Harrisburg's point percentage could go as high as 67%. All three of those games are against teams ahead of the City Islanders in the Open Cup table (Richmond, Western Mass, and Long Island, respectively).
Current USL-2 standings and City Islanders statistics are included in the attachment to this e-mail.
