City Islanders To Be Featured on FOX43

(Harrisburg, Pa., June 2, 2005) â The Harrisburg City Islanders will be featured in this weekend's installment of "FOX43 News Sunday Spotlight," which will air at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 5, on WPMT FOX43.
City Islanders General Manager Joe Sierko will represent the club on the show, which will be hosted by FOX43 Sports Director Todd Sadowski and focus on minor league pro sports in the area. Andy Frankel of the Lancaster Barnstormers baseball team will also be a guest.
"We look forward to being a part of the Sunday Spotlight," said Sierko. "We thank FOX43 and Todd Sadowski for the opportunity to participate in what should be an interesting show."
"FOX43 News Sunday Spotlight," a public affairs show which sheds light on issues and activities in the community, airs every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. on WPMT FOX43.
The City Islanders are in action this Saturday, June 4, when the expansion Cincinnati Kings make their first visit to Skyline Sports Complex. Kickoff is 7:05 p.m.
The Harrisburg City Islanders are in their second season of play in the nine-team USL Second Division. The City Islanders' 20-game (10 home, 10 away) regular season schedule kicked off on April 16 and will run through August 13, with home games played at scenic Skyline Sports Complex on City Island in Harrisburg, Pa.
