CIF Releases 2019 Schedule

Amarillo, TX - The Champions Indoor Football league is proud to announce their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2019 season. Each of the 8-member teams will play a total of twelve games consisting of 6 home and 6 away games with two conferences. The northern conference will feature Salina, Wichita, Sioux City & Omaha while the southern conference will comprise of Oklahoma, Duke City, YOUR Amarillo Venom and Texas. A total of four teams will qualify for the playoffs consisting of each conference winner along with each conference's second place team advancing to post-season play.
The first round of the playoffs will feature the conference teams playing one another with the winners advancing to the championship game where the host team will be determined by league tie-breakers.
The Amarillo Venom open the season on Saturday, March 23rd against Salina Liberty. The Venom open on Week 1 for the first time in many years. Many of the opponents are the same, but one new team will become a local rival, Enid Flying Aces from Enid, Oklahoma.
All games will be on the regular Saturday nights starting at 6:00pm with gates opening at 5:00 pm, except for one Monday Night, June 10th at 6:00pm against Omaha.
Tickets are always affordable, starting at only $10. Many new exciting plans are coming with the new season, from concerts to promotional giveaways to events within the games.
