The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today they have partnered with Special "T" Sports Sanitizing making the Arkansas based operation the Official Sports Sanitizing company of the CHL.

Special "T" Sports Sanitizing is a mobile sports sanitizing service that is powered by Sani Sports system (currently used by 26 out of 30 NHL teams). The system kills bacteria and prevents new bacteria from forming thus helping with the prevention of infectious diseases such as the MRSA Staph Infection.

"The CHL is pleased to be able to have Special 'T' Sports Sanitizing as our Official Sports Sanitizing company," said Duane Lewis, Vice President of Operations for the CHL. "Their track record of working with professional sports is outstanding, and this is just another step in the right direction for protecting our athletes."

Special "T" Sports Sanitizing services not only hockey gear but football and lacrosse gear as well. The service is also used for the CHL team mascots as well as all CHL on-ice officials. Many sports teams have taken advantage of the "Play Safe, Play Clean" motto including the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins and the AHL's Milwaukee Admirals.

"Special 'T' Sports Sanitizing is honored to partner with the CHL in an absolute proactive stance in the fight against staph infection," said Tim Lennon, President of Special "T" Sports Sanitizing. "The CHL is not only looking out for the best interest of the players but also that of the on-ice officials."
