
Chinooks use late surge to take down Hotshots

Coos Bay, OR - The Portland Chinooks defeated the Central Oregon Hotshots in a neutral site game in Coos Bay on Tuesday by the score of 161-134. The Chinooks used a huge fourth quarter to key the win--turning a three point lead at the beginning of the final period into the eventual 27 point margin.
Larry Smith had his best game as a Chinook, scoring 34 points including 10 three pointers. Kenny Tate added 31 points, and Chris Stephens 30 in the win. Tate also pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds. Jeff Dunn poured in 35 points for the Hotshots to lead all scorers.
