Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Friday as the Chillicothe Paints (9-10) outscored the Lafayette Aviators (8-11) 10-8.
The two teams combined for 23 hits in the game.
Korbin Williams had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the third, sixth, and seventh innings and singled in the ninth inning.
David Current brought the heat against the Lafayette Aviators during his outing. The Lafayette Aviators managed just one hit off of the the Chillicothe Paints' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
Riley Benner racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Lafayette Aviators. He singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
Jonathan Keller (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
