July 11, 2014 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Coulee Region Chill News Release

(La Crosse, Wisconsin) The Coulee Region Chill (NAHL) and La Crosse Freeze (NA3HL) junior hockey teams are hosting a Futures Camp for high school-aged players this weekend at Green Island Ice Arena.

The three-day camp will include practices, goalie sessions, games and off-ice informational sessions for hockey players interested in continuing their careers at the junior and college levels. Sixty players have registered for the camp, including 18 from La Crosse area high schools, and many participants are from all over the United States.

Chill head coach A.J. Degenhardt, Freeze head coach Ryan Egan and assistant coaches from Marian (Wis.) University, St. Olaf (Minn.) College and Saint Mary's (Minn.) University will supervise the camp and will emphasize development and preparation for advancing in hockey.

"Being a futures camp, we want to educate the kids and provide exposure to our coaching staffs," Egan said. "We're bringing in college coaches for a Q and A and making sure the players are preparing themselves for college now."

The camp runs today, Saturday and Sunday at Green Island Ice Arena. See attachment for full schedule.
