Chicago Rush Announce 2011 Broadcast Schedule

CHICAGO (April 4, 2011) - The Chicago Rush, Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV/CLTV have announced the team's television broadcast schedule for the 2011 regular season which features seven televised games including two games on the NFL Network.

"We are thrilled to have the Rush back on television," said Chicago Rush President and GM, Gene Nudo. "Fans will now have the opportunity to get a taste of arena football and the Rush organization from in their own homes. We cannot wait to show them where our organization is headed."

Below is a detailed Chicago Rush broadcast schedule:

Friday, April 22 @ 7 p.m. against Kansas City Command - NFL Network

Saturday, April 30 @ 7 p.m. against New Orleans VooDoo - CLTV

Sunday, May 22 @ 3 p.m. against Dallas Vigilantes - Comcast SportsNet

Sunday, May 29 @ 3 p.m. against Tulsa Talons - Comcast SportsNet

Sunday, June 26 @ 3 p.m. against Iowa Barnstormers - CLTV

Saturday, July 23 @ 7 p.m. against Milwaukee Mustangs - Comcast SportsNet

Comcast SportsNet Chicago is set to televise three Rush home games beginning Sunday, May 22nd. "The Rush are off to a great start this season and we're looking forward to providing our viewers with exciting Arena Football League action this season," said Greg Bowman, Vice President of Programming for Comcast SportsNet Chicago.

Two additional Rush home games will be broadcast on CLTV. "We are excited to add Rush Football to the lineup of teams carried by WGN Sports. These CLTV broadcasts will be enjoyed by football fans around the region," said Vice President and General Manager of WGN-TV/CLTV, Marty Wilke. Games will be produced by WGN Sports on CLTV. Fans can find CLTV on Comcast and RCN cable systems.

In addition to the television broadcast schedule, every Chicago Rush game will be streamed live on AFL LIVE through NiFTyTV (webcast) at the following link: http://www.niftytv.com/afl or on www.arenarush.com. Les Grobstein, official Rush broadcaster and host on WSCR 670 - The Score, will provide the play-by-play and analysis on the webcast.
