CHICAGO (Dec. 16, 2010) -- The Chicago Riot of the Major Indoor Soccer League announces today that 9magnets has released the official Chicago Riot iPhone application to the Apple App Store.

"The Riot's new iPhone app offers iPhone users a free and easy way to stay connected to the club 24/7, with Riot information, photos, Twitter updates from staff and more all included," Chicago Riot Vice President Tom Dunmore said. "The Riot was fortunate to be able to partner with a Chicago-based app developer with the pedigree of 9magnets to create the app."

With the application's deep Twitter integration, iPhone users will be uniquely connected to the team's pulse even during the Riot's next home game on Jan. 9 (7 p.m. kick-off) against the Omaha Vipers at the Odeum Sports and Expo Center in Villa Park, Ill. Tickets are available at www.ChicagoRiotSoccer.com or by calling 630-708-6284.

"It's been an exciting experience to work with the Riot on this unique mobile application," 9magnets co-founder Cameron Banga said. "The team and their front office has shown clear dedication to put together a winning franchise, and we're happy to have the opportunity to partner with the Riot as they build a successful team for years to come."

9magnets is one of the premier iPhone and iPad application developers, earning national recognition. The Chicago-based company's first application, Battery Go!, was recommended by the New York Times. Their wide ranging portfolio includes a Kidney Stone App, which is a liquid intake tracker for patients across the world.

Next up for the Riot is a 3:10 p.m. road game at the Missouri Comets on Sunday, Dec. 19, at the Independence Events Center in Independence, Mo. The game includes a webcast accessible at MISL.net and Spanish-language online radio at LaMaquinaDeportiva.com .
