Chicago Hounds Announce Exhibition Schedule

Hoffman Estates, Ill. (September 6, 2006) - Art Clarkson, Chicago Hounds COO, announced Wednesday the exhibition schedule for the 2006-2007 preseason. The UHL expansion team will play its first games against in-state rivals Quad City Mallards followed by the Rockford IceHogs. The Chicago Hounds hit the road for two road games as they start their inaugural season.

On Saturday, October 7th, the Hounds travel to the Quad Cities to take on the Mallards at the Quad City Sports Center. The puck drops at 7pm. This first game will give the newest UHL team an opportunity to show off their skill against the Mallards. Fans interested in tickets to watch the Chicago Hounds very first game can contact the Mallards Ticket Office at (309) 764-7825 starting October 2nd. Tickets are $5.

The second day of this preseason road trip will take the Hounds to Rockford to face the IceHogs on October 8th at 5:05 p.m. in the MetroCentre. Tickets for the Hounds exhibition game with the IceHogs are $7 General Admission and kids 7-and under receive free admission. Preseason game tickets can be purchased beginning Sept. 25. "We are looking forward to getting this talented team on the ice," said Hounds Coach Greg Puhalski, adding, "this is an exciting start to the season-having the Hounds face other UHL teams in Illinois."
