FIRE TO FACE NECAXA TUESDAY IN MEXICALI, MEXICO
The Chicago Fire have settled in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and will next take on Primera Division side Necaxa at Estadio Victoria on Tuesday, March, 4 at 8:30 p.m. CT. The "Men in Red" will then depart Aquascalientes for Mexicali, Mexico on Saturday, March 8. On Tuesday, March 11, the Fire will play San Luis at Estadio Ciudad Deportiva in the team's final tune-up in Mexico before returning to Chicago on March 12. BARRETT AND CERVI IN U.S. U-23 MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM CAMP
Chicago Fire forward Chad Barrett and rookie goalkeeper Dominic Cervi were recently named by U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team head coach Peter Nowak among 24 players to participate in the team's final training camp before 2008 CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying. Both players will be in Bradenton until March 9, before the final 20-player roster travels to Tampa, the location of the first-round games in the qualifying tournament for Group A.

CHICAGO FIRE SOCCER AT THE 2008 IYSA SOCCER EXPO
Chicago Fire Soccer will be at the Schaumburg Sports Center on Saturday, March 8, for the 2008 IYSA Soccer Expo in Schaumburg, Ill., located at 1141 W. Irving Park Rd. The Fire will have a mini FireFest set up, complete with a DJ, inflatables, games, giveaways, soccer drills, with Chicago Fire defender Daniel Woolard making an appearance with Fire mascot Sparky. FIRE AT SOUTH SIDE IRISH ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
The Chicago Fire will again be participating in the South Side Irish St. Paddy's Day parade on Sunday, March 9. Come out and see Fire mascot Sparky and his friends running alongside the Chicago Fire firetruck and giving away prizes for fans of the "Men in Red". CHICAGO FIRE SOCCER HIRE GREGG ELKIN AS VP OF COMMUNICATIONS
Chicago Fire President and General Manager John Guppy recently announced the organization has named Gregg Elkin as Vice President of Communications. Elkin will oversee all of the organization's external and internal communication efforts as they relate to the areas of business, marketing and community initiatives as well as on-field accomplishments. A veteran of more than 22 years in the sports public relations field, Elkin spent the last four years as the Senior Director of Communications for Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers.
BRAZIL U-20 VS. ARGENTINA U-20 AT TOYOTA PARK MARCH 30
On Sunday, March 30, at 2:00 p.m. CT, TOYOTA PARK will host the U-20 national squads of Brazil and Argentina, presented by Gebka's Company. Both nations will take to the pitch with aspirations of attending the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2009 in Egypt. Tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster locations and at the TOYOTA PARK Ticket Office.
JIMMY BUFFETT TO PERFORM AT TOYOTA PARK JULY 24 AND JULY 26
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band are back in town for two Chicagoland appearances at TOYOTA PARK on Thursday, July 24 and Saturday, July 26, as part of Jimmy Buffett's "The Year of Still Here" Tour 2008. Tickets for both shows go on sale Monday, March 3, at 10:00 a.m. CT. Tickets are available at the TOYOTA PARK Ticket Office and through all Ticketmaster outlets.
